Potatoes are among the fruits of the earth that I love most, they are the protagonists in a thousand always different recipes and make every dish extremely magical.

Smashed roasted potatoes recipe
Ingredients
- 1 kg potatoes
- Rosemary
- Thyme
- Sage
- Garlic
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- To prepare these delicious roasted potatoes, start by boiling the potatoes (with the peel): then place them in a large pot and cover them with cold water. Turn on the flame and bring to a boil. Cooking depends a lot on the size of the potatoes, generally taking about 20 minutes from boiling. In any case, do the test with the fork: when it fits well then they will be perfect.
- Meanwhile, prepare a mixture of rosemary, sage and thyme.
- Preheat the oven to 220 ° C (427 ° F). When the potatoes are ready, drain them and place them in a large bowl. Season them with oil, salt, pepper and the chopped herbs.
- Arrange them apart in an ovenproof dish and mash them with a glass. Therefore, place a few cloves of garlic, other rosemary needles and some sage leaves on the pan.
- Put them in the oven and cook for about 25 minutes, then take them out of the oven and turn them.
- Cook for another 10 minutes, or until they are wonderfully crunchy. Here are your roasted potatoes, enjoy your meal !!
